Mianwali ASO impounds Toyota Vitz car worth Rs919,741

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO), Mianwali has impounded a Toyota Vitz car worth Rs9,19,741 while its duty tax value is Rs469,741.

Sources told Customs Today that ASO Mianwali Additional Collector Saeed Asad received information regarding smuggling of above said vehicle.  On this he constituted an Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) team comprising Deputy Collector Rizwan khan, Suprintendent Choudhary Muhammad Sardar and Inspector Azhar Hussain Jafri, Muhammad Omar Bhatti, and Sepoys Muhammad yousaf, Muhammad Abdullah, Faiz Ahmed, Muhammad Feroz and Sher Ahmed Sepoys.

During the checking of vehicles the ASO team intercepted foreign origin  Toyota Vitz car bearing registration No, AAU-456 (Quetta), model 2000 as per seat belt having horse power 1296-CCS near Golaya wala M.M Road District area of Mainwali. The team asked its owner, who was identified by Muhammad Rizwan son of Gul jahan residential Hassan khanwala Rodi Tehsil Kaloor and District Bakher to provide legal documents of the vehicle but he failed to provide the same. After his failure, the ASO team impounded Toyota Vitz and registered a case against its owner.
