Development of five livestock farms discussed

KARACHI: To Rehabilitate and develop five farms of Livestock under public private partnership project, a review meeting to discuss further extension of one year to the project was held here on Thursday.

According to a statement on Thursday, the meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister for Livestock Muhammad Ali Malkani at his office here. Secretary Livestock Ghulam Hussain Memon and other officers attended the meeting.

Minister Livestock Muhammad Ali Malkani said that there are lot of investment opportunities in livestock and fisheries sectors for the national as well as international investors, In this regard Sindh government is fully providing support and assistance to the private sector for viable investment at large scale in the province to benefit the local livestock farmers and holders/owners.He directed completion of documentation for awarding one year extension period should be finalised without delay.

The Minister Livestock described that these five Livestock farms including Khudabad (Dadu), Kunri, Tando Muhammad Khan, Karachi and Rohri would gradually be developed and rehabilitated.
