Dar, Nisar discuss problems in filing tax returns, IRIS

KARACHI: Federal Finance Ishaq Dar Minister has called on Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan and discussed issues being faced by the business community in connection with filing of their income tax returns for the year 2016-17.

Dar also inquired about the status of tax returns during the current fiscal year and performance of the Integrated Revenue Information System (IRIS) in filing the returns.

He said that the system has been successfully working for the last one and an half months, adding that the taxpayers are taking full advantage of the system.
