Deputy Collector Naghma-e-Tehaniat to receive Certificate of Merit on International Customs Day

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Collector Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad (BBIAI) Naghma-e-Tehaniat will receive Certificate of Merit on International Customs Day.  She showed outstanding performance throughout her tensure. The International Customs Day will be observed on 26th of January 2017.

According to official document under the supervision of Deputy Collector Ms. Neghma the baggage section collected Rs.44.39 million which was 205% of the assigned target.

It is further stated that she also tried to bring about transparency in Customs procedures by automating clearance system through maximum use of scanners and up gradation of CCTV system adding that as focal person of Pakistan Customs for new Islamabad International Air port project, she has proposed various measures to bring about improvement in procedures through adjustment of structures at under construction airport, these measures strengthening customs controls.
