Gujranwala FIA issues new red list of human traffickers

SIALKOT: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Gujranwala Region has issued new list of red book human traffickers while issued orders for tight security of foreign passengers during their arrival and departure at Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL).

FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anees told Customs Today that the Federal Interior Ministry has instructed that the all provincial and regional offices of FIA to detain human traffickers of latest list of red book and others. He told that the Ministry also directed FIA to tight security of airports while provide full security to foreign passengers during their arrival and departures on airport.

Khalid Anees added that the FIA Gujranwala Region has issued new list of 35 red book human traffickers and constituted special teams to detain these red book human traffickers while these teams has started raids on various dens and these human traffickers will nab soon.

He told that the FIA has appointed one assistant director, two inspectors, five sub inspectors and twelve constables on Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) to stop human trafficking and money laundering while gold smuggling with help of Customs Preventive Staff, Anti Narcotics Forces (ANF) and Airport Security Forces (ASF).

Deputy director said that the government is taking keen interested to stop corruption by airport as like money laundering and smuggling of gold, narcotics and other items. He told that the government as well as Federal Ministry of Interior and Federal Ministry of Finance have authorized to FIA and Pakistan Customs to take strict action on Airports to stop money laundering and smuggling while the Official of FIA and Customs Department will use full powers and they will not spare any person. He said that the department will not accept any pressure to release any accused of money laundering and smuggling as well as human trafficking.
