DC Asfandyar Khan warns Winsome Enterprises for hiding basic import documents

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement-West, Deputy Collector, Group-II Asfandyar Khan has warned the importers against hiding of the basic import documents.

“If such practice is witnessed in future, the NTN of the importer will be blocked besides the license of clearing agent will also be cancelled,” the deputy collector warned.

In this regard, DC Asfandyar Khan has forwarded a warning letter to importer M/s Winsome Enterprises Karachi and clearing agent Ghulam Muhammad International for not providing basic documents.

“As per notice, you were required to upload basic documents like invoice, packing list and bill of lading at the time of filing of goods declaration however the needful was done”, he said.

“You are therefore warned to be careful in future, otherwise strict action as per law will be initiated which may include blocking of NTN of importer or cancellation of license of clearing agent”, the DC warned.
