Collector Zahid orders NLC dry port employees to wear uniforms

LAHORE: The Lahore Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement has directed appraisers and inspectors to inform the customs admin deputy collector before going for a case hearing.

They were also instructed to come back straightaway to the office following the hearing and mark their attendance. The office order warned the appraisers and inspectors to comply with instructions.

Meanwhile, the Collectorate of Customs Appraisement has also asked all NLC dry port employees between Grade-1 and -5 to wear uniforms owing to security reasons.

Sources said that Collector Muhammad Zahid Mehmood Khokhar has taken serious notice in this regard and issued instructions.
