Korea Investment CORP takes position in Ball Corporation

SEOUL: Korea Investment CORP bought a new position in shares of Ball Corporation (NYSE:BLL) during the third quarter, according to its most recent 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The institutional investor bought 24,162 shares of the company’s stock, valued at approximately $1,980,000.

Other hedge funds and other institutional investors have also recently bought and sold shares of the company. Advisor Group Inc. boosted its position in Ball Corporation by 26.7% in the third quarter. Advisor Group Inc. now owns 7,265 shares of the company’s stock worth $595,000 after buying an additional 1,533 shares during the period. DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale boosted its position in Ball Corporation by 50.1% in the third quarter. DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale now owns 29,505 shares of the company’s stock worth $2,390,000 after buying an additional 9,849 shares during the period. Norinchukin Bank The boosted its position in Ball Corporation by 8.5% in the third quarter.

Norinchukin Bank The now owns 9,328 shares of the company’s stock worth $764,000 after buying an additional 729 shares during the period. Ameriprise Financial Inc. boosted its position in Ball Corporation by 10.0% in the third quarter. Ameriprise Financial Inc. now owns 67,538 shares of the company’s stock worth $5,534,000 after buying an additional 6,118 shares during the period. Finally, Municipal Employees Retirement System of Michigan boosted its position in Ball Corporation by 21.9% in the third quarter. Municipal Employees Retirement System of Michigan now owns 5,450 shares of the company’s stock worth $447,000 after buying an additional 980 shares during the period. Institutional investors own 81.54% of the company’s stock.
