FIA arrests passenger arrived on fake passport from Malaysia

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested suspect who was traveling on fake passport from Malaysia to Lahore.

According to FIA spokesperson, Faisal Mehmood (fake name) son of Khalid Mehmood, a resident of Sialkot, whose real name was Abdul Ghaffar son of Muhammad Bashir, a resident of Gujranwala, arrived by Flight No.OD-131 from Malaysia.

All the passengers of the flight were cleared while the said passenger was waiting for someone for quite some time.

After observing his suspicious activities he was asked that why he was standing there for a considerable time. His reply was found unsatisfactory hence he was asked to show his passport.

During checking his picture was found mismatched with the passport. He was thoroughly interrogated. He disclosed that he obtained the said passport from an agent namely Safdar who is in Malaysia in lieu of Rs 150,000. The FIA arrested the passenger and registered a case against him.
