Customs holds welcome ceremony for 181 recruits

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) held specialised academic training ceremony of 181 newly recruited staff (sepoys) by Customs Collectorate. The ceremony was held after the completion of physical training of the recruits. The chief guest was Member Human Resource Management (HRM) Rozi Khan Barki.

Addressing the newly recruited seopys Dr. Arslan welcomed them and hoped that they will contribute their best services for the department.

He said that all newly appointed sepoys are luckiest to join an outstanding department the Pakistan Customs. He advised them to always keep the Pakistan Customs’ motto in mind, which is integrity, efficiency and courtesy.

Member HRM Rozi Khan Barki in his address said physical training is as important as academic training adding the academic training must comprise three months because there are so many things, which new recruits have to learn.

He added that the sepoys of the Pakistan Customs are representatives of the country as they interact with the people who come here with smuggled goods and try to harm our economy. He advised them to work honestly and fearlessly.
