Peshawar Customs earns Rs9195.73m revenue during 2Q of FY2016-17

ISLAMABAD: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar collected revenue of Rs9195.73 million under head of all duty and taxes during 2ndquarter (October to December) of Financial Year (FY) 2016-17.

Additional Deputy Collector Fazl-e-Samad told Customs Today that MCC Peshawar showed excellent performance during the above said period and collected revenue of Rs2928.53 million under head of customs duty. He said that during 2nd quarter MCC Peshawar collected revenue of Rs3.06 million under head of withholding surcharge as for as revenue of Rs393.63 million under head of miscellaneous duty taxes during the above said period.

He said that during the above said period the Collectorate collected revenue of Rs2109.91 million under head of sales tax as for as revenue of Rs2372.57 million under head of additional income tax and revenue of Rs84.15 million under head of federal excise duty on imports.

The Additional Deputy Collector added that during the above said period MCC Peshawar collected revenue Rs175.23 million under head of redemption duty imports as for as revenue of Rs38.43 million under head of export development surcharge.
