Nogales port of entry closed due to protests

NOGALES: The DeConcini Port of Entry in Nogales is closed due to growing protests over gas prices.

The U.S. Consulate in Nogales is warning travelers to avoid the port of entry. All traffic is being rerouted to the Mariposa Port of Entry in Douglas. Wait times at the Mariposa Port of Entry are long, according to a news release from the U,S, Consulate. There are reports of police using rubber bullets on protesters and a number of arrests.
