Customs Central Region collects Rs28m FED in Dec

LAHORE: Customs Central Region has collected Rs 28 million federal excise duty (FED) during the month of December 2016-17.

As per details, the Collectorate under supervision Chief Collector Samaira Nazir showed outstanding performance during the month of December.  Customs Appraisement collected Rs 0.86 million FED during the month against the assigned target of Rs 3 million.

Similarly, Customs Preventive collected Rs 0.75 million FED during the month against the assigned target of month of Rs 6 million.

The Collectorate of Multan collected Rs 27 million during the period under review against the assigned target of Rs21 million during the month of December 2016-17.

In the same way, the Collectorate of Customs Faisalabad collected Rs 0.02 million during the month of December against the assigned target of Rs0.33 million during the month of December, 2016-17 during the month.

Overall the Central Region collected FED from all the four Collectrate worth Rs28 million against assigned target of Rs 30 million during the month of December 2016.
