WARSAW: Unemployment in Poland rose slightly to 8.3 percent in December, according to the Labour, Family and Social Policy ministry.
The figure was 0.1 percentage points higher than in November. “This is the first rise in unemployment in many months. The increase in unemployment occurred in 11 provinces. The strongest – of 0.4 percentage points – was observed in Kujawsko-Pomorskie” in north-western Poland, said minister Elżbieta Rafalska.
