Customs Intelligence to hold auction of seized goods, vehicles soon

ISLAMABAD: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I)  decided to dispose of confiscated goods and vehicles trough public auction at State Warehouse during current week.

Sources told Customs Today that Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigations Shaukat Ali directed to Additional Collector Abdul Waheed Marwat that the process of auction should be transparent and attractive.

Sources said that those items which will be offered for auction includes ladies fabric 2360 kilogram, light transport vehicle, gents fabric 1169 kilogram, Honda shocks without spindle, ball bearing of different sizes, shock absorber for light vehicles, Toyota auto parts, black tea 613 kilogram, liquid chemical bleaching 14 drums, Nissan engine oil, Samsung, Sony and Nobel LEDs, Slim LEDs China 360, Eva creamy soap, hard board for inside door, Denso compressor of AC for motor car, foreign origin used tube-less tyers, ladies jersey, Iranian origin hazelnut Ramtin chocolate coated puffed rice cereal filled with hazelnut cream, ladies valet suiting fabric 1170 kilogram, Olympia used generator, used cut frame of Hilux, old and used radiators for LTV vehicles, Mercedes Benz bullet proof, Toyota Mark-II, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Coaster, Toyota Fielder X, Honda Civic, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TX Limited, Yamaha Heavy bike, Suzuki sports bike, Mitsubishi Pajero, Ford transit wagon, Toyota Hilux Surf 4-Runner, Honda G Air Wave, Jaguar X car, Suzuki Bandit heavy bike, Toyota Crown Saloon, Toyota Passo and Toyota Mark X car.

Sources said that after necessary procedure the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations will announce final date for conducting auction of non duty paid goods and vehicles.
