FIA arrests human trafficker from Chiniot

FAISALABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker from Chiniot city during  intelligence base operation.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub Inspector Muhammad Hanif conducted raid at Kark Muhammadi Sharif Bhawana district Chiniot along with FIA team and arrested human trafficker who was identified as Muhammad Saeed son of Noor Muhammad.

Sources said that the accused was running an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge amounts from them after showing golden dreams of their lucid future abroad.

Muhammad Saeed was involved in several cases of fraud, money extortion and sending people abroad by using fake and forged documents. The accused extorted Rs312,000 from Muhammad Murtaza son of Allah Yar for overseas employment to Malaysia. The FIA team recovered five Pakistani passports, different stamps and others fake documents from the accused.

The FIA officials after registering a case of human trafficking against the accused shifted him to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
