Kohat Auction Cell gets Rs32m in 1H of FY2016-17

ISLAMABAD: The Kohat Customs Auction Cell collected revenue of Rs32 million under the head of All Duty Taxes during the first half of the current Financial Year (FY) 2016-17.

According to details, the Kohat Customs Station collected the above said revenue by auctioning different non-duty paid vehicles and confiscating smuggled goods.

Fazle Samad, Additional Collector, MCC Peshawar said the Kohat Auction Cell got revenue of Rs24.55 million under the head of Total Customs Duty during the above said period. He further said that during the above said period, the Kohat Auction Cell earned revenue of Rs4.52 million under the head of Total Sales Tax.

The ADC told Customs Today that during the first half of the current Financial Year 2016-17, the Kohat Auction Cell collected revenue of Rs2.44 million under the head of Total Additional Income Tax as well as the cell received revenue of Rs0.28 million under the head of Total Federal Excise Duty on Imports.
