Sialkot FIA offloads three fake visas accused from plane

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday offloaded three accused from a private airliner while trying to travel to Sharjah from Sialkot International Airport.

According to Khalid Anees (Divisional Deputy Director FIA), three accused Qamar Zaman, Shoaib Anwar and Rana Jamshaid Anwar were trying to travel to Sharjah from Sialkot Airport on fake visas. The FIA officials detected their forgery and offloaded them.

During the preliminary interrogation, the accused told the FIA investigators that they were also intending to travel to USA, Brazil, Ecuador and Mexico from Sharjah on the said fake visas.

The accused further told the FIA that they had paid Rs2 million each to village Olakh Jattaan-Sialkot based two accused human traffickers Shamas Rehman and Sameer for fake visas.

Khalid Anees (Divisional Deputy Director FIA) added that the FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case against them. Further investigations are underway.
