BEIJING: Forecasting that the smartphone passion is slowly coming to an end with 20 percent year over year growth rate, IDC’s projection show even slower growth in the future.
International Data Corporation forecaster Kiranjeet Kaur said that over the next few years, the smartphone growth was expected to be in single digits. She said that even with the market condition, smartphone vendors continue to ship huge quantities to the country.
IDC report said that in this year third quarter, Chinese smartphone shipments reached 105 million.
