TEHRAN: Azerbaijan and Iran will apply single window system in customs from next month, Head of Iran’s Customs Administration Masoud Karbasian told APA’s Tehran bureau.

Karbasian noted that this system will allow the bodies to exchange the information electronically: “This system will accelerate works of both bodies, reduce the waiting period. Moreover, there will be no need for inspection by both customs. One of them will do that. Currently, bilateral meetings are underway, some details are being specified. We applied this system with Turkey. But with Azerbaijan, this system is more perfect”.
