ISLAMABAD: The Peshawar Customs Station, Kohat, collected revenue of Rs21.30million during first 15 days of January, Financial Year 2016-17, under the heads of all duty taxes and surcharges.
According to details told by Fazle Samad, Additional Collector of Peshawar Customs Collectorate, that Kohat collected revenue of Rs1.95million under head of Customs Duty and the Customs Station, Kohat, did revenue Rs0.26million under head of Redemption Duty.
ADC Samad said that during above said period the Kohat collected revenue of Rs0.85million under head of Extra-Development Surcharge (EDS) whereas the Kohat Station collected revenue of Rs2.25million under head of Sales Tax, adding that during above said period the Kohat collected revenue of Rs0.30million under head of Sales Tax on imported items.
The ADC told Customs Today that during initial 15 day of January FY16-17 the Kohat collected revenue of Rs6.51million under head of additional Income Tax and the said Customs Station collected revenue of Rs9.18million under head of additional Income Tax on Imports.
