FIA arrests notorious human trafficker

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad has arrested a human trafficker namely Mazhar Iqbal son of Rehmat Ali during an action. The suspect is residential of Chack No 191 RB Faisalabad .

Sources told Customs Today that FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi along with his team, Sub inspector Taimoor Haider and Abbas Bajwa conducted a raid near Check no 191 RB Faisalabad and arrested the accused who was running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them. The accused person extorted about Rs130,000 from the complained Tariq Manhood for sending him Dubai .

During the checking FIA team recovered four original Pakistani passport and some copies of passport from his possession. During investigation the team also recovered accused scanned copies of FIRs, affidavit CNICs of different people, sticker visa of Canada, labour demand of different countries, electronic tickets, bank transaction receipts. The team also captured his cell phone and investigate about whats app conversation with different agents regarding employment visas for different countries.

The officials sent the accused behind bar after registering a case No, 55/17 of human smuggling against him under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance 1979. Further investigations are still in progress till filing of this news.
