ISLAMABAD: A bench of Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) adjourned hearing of case filed by M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company for a week after hearing arguments on the case for the second consecutive day.
ATIR Account Member Dr Ghulam Mujtaba Bhatti heard the case. The bench adjourned hearing on the matter for further arguments.
M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had contested show cause notices issued by the field offices of Federal Board of Revenue.
According to details, M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had challenged recovery of outstanding income tax by the LTU, Islamabad.
M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had submitted the department had issued the demand for the tax year 2014 in head of income tax under provisions of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
