Faisalabad Customs Appraisement collects Rs700.70m in Jan.

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement collected Rs700.70 million during first month of January 2017 against the set target of Rs878.13 million.

According to the details, Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the above said period.

According to details the statistics data available with Customs Today, it collected Rs209.29 million as customs duty (CD), against the set target of Rs 153 million.

The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement branch assigned revenue collection target of Rs699 million as a set for sale tax by collects Rs 482.17 million.

It collected Rs9.15 millions in wake of income tax during the above said period against the set target of Rs 26 million. It collected Rs 0.09 millions in wake of federal excise duty (FED), against the set target Rs0.13 million.

Customs Appraisement Deputy Collector Usman Tariq says that his department already issued notice to a number of tax defaulters in recent months asking them to clear outstanding tax dues at the earliest to avoid stern action
