Faisalabad FIA arrests human trafficker from Jhang

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker from Jhang during an action.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub Inspector Taimoor Haider conducted raid at his residential place along with FIA team and arrested a human trafficker who was identified as Muhammad Shouqat Hayat son of Muhammad Ali who is a resident of Jhang.

As per details, the accused was running an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge amounts from them after showing golden dreams of their lucid future abroad.

Muhammad Shouqat was involved in several cases of fraud, money extortion and sending people abroad by using illegal and inhuman means. Accused extorted Rs8,00,000 from the complainant Taimoor Safdar son of Safdar Ali for overseas employment to UK. The FIA team recovered Pakistani passport, stamp and others fake documents from the accused possession.

The FIA officials after registering a case No, 40/2017 dated 17-1-2017 of human trafficking and sent the accused behind bars under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979.
