LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency has arrested two accused and recovered spurious and expired medicines from three medical stores near Services Hospital.
According to FIA officials, a team of FIA led by Inspector Mian Anwar along with Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) officials raided the Services Hospital area and inspected three medical stores named Farhan Medical Store, Shaheen Pharmacy and Saghir Medical Store.
The FIA took into possession all the expired and spurious medicines besides a large quantity of drugs which were property of Services Hospital. The raiding team arrested Tariq Mahmood and Muhammad Asif Sharif on the spot. The accused told team that Services Hospital lower staff was involved in supplying government drus to them and they had a share of 50 percent in the trafficking.
