LAHORE: The division bench-II of the Customs Appellate Tribunal comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 10 cases and adjourned all the cases until the next hearing.
According to details, the Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned the hearing of 10 cases, including customs Sambrial versus M/s Saeed Mahmood, M/s Awais and Shoaib versus Post Clearance Audit Lahore, M/s Baz Muhammad versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, M/s Muhammad Shahban versus Customs Faisalabad.
Reportedly, on Wednesday, the tribunal heard cases of M/s Abdul Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, M/s Aboot Khan versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, M/s Kashif Malik versus Customs Multan and M/s Amin Khan versus Customs Lahore.
Sources said that the tribunal heard M/s Khalid Mehmood versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore and M/s Raza Ali Shah versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad and Customs Faisalabad versus M/s Muhammad Amin.
Sources said that in all the cases, the representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued respectively.
After hearing the both sides, the customs appellate tribunal reserve verdicts in two case filed by the appellant Customs Sambrial and M/s Aboot Khan.
Whereas, all the other cases were adjourns until the next hearing. The case of M/s Kashif Malik adjourned till 14 February, M/s Amin Ullah till February 13, four cases of M/s Baz Muhammad, M/s Abdul Ali, M/s Muhammad Shahban and M/s Ali Raza Shah adjourned till February 22 and case of M/s Awais and Shoaib was adjourned till February 20 and case filed by M/s Khalid Mehmood will be heard on February 23 by the customs appellate tribunal for further hearing.
