Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 13 important cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: A division bench-II of the Customs Appellate Tribunal comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq heard 13 cases and adjourned all the cases until the next hearing.

The Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned the hearing of 13 cases which included M/s Maxi Inch versus valuation Lahore, M/s Sohail and others versus customs Lahore, M/s Uch Power versus Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations Multan Unit Sadiqabad, and customs Lahore versus A.I. Corporation.

On Tuesday, the tribunal heard cases of M/s Sitara Textile versus customs Lahore, Dildar Jani versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Juma Khan versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Customs Lahore versus Sami Ullah, Ahsan Mehmood versus customs Lahore.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard cases filed by M/s D.K Industries versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, M/s Sitara Textile versus customs Lahore, M/s Azam International versus customs Lahore, M/s Inam Traders versus customs Lahore and Customs Lahore versus Abdul Kabir.

In all the cases, the representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favour of their respective parties. After hearing the arguments from the parties, the Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned hearing of these cases until next hearing.

All cases of respective parties are fixed for hearing in next dates and the Customs Appellate Tribunal will hear case on the next dates of hearing.
