Faisalabad RTO collects Rs21097.748m revenue from July 2016 to Jan. 2017

FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax office (RTO) Faisalabad collected revenue of Rs21097.748 million during from July to January 30-2017.

Sources told Customs Today, that Federal Board of Revenue assigned revenue collection target of Rs21553.900 million during for the above said months.

Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Shad Muhammad appreciated the performance of the staff in collection of revenue. He said that Regional Tax office Faisalabad achieved 23 percent of revenue target during these months.

Sources said that Regional Tax Office Faisalabad collected Rs 10977.535 million under the head of income tax against the set target of Rs 14520.900 million.  Sources said that Rs10082.639 million were collected as sales tax against the assigned target of Rs 6818.500 million.

It is necessary to mention here that the RTO collected Rs 37.574 million under the head of federal excise duty (FED) against the assigned target of Rs214.500 million during the said period.
