Custom Court directs IO to complete investigation in tax evasion case

KARACHI: Custom Court Judge Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi directed the investigation officer to complete the investigation and submit final challan against the accused persons namely Muhammad Fahad son of Muhammad Hanif, Malik Aziz Ahmed S/O Malik Ghulam Yasin, Burhan Uddin S/O Badurddin and others in a mega tax evasion case.

During the hearing, investigation officer filed interim challan and informed the court that during the investigation, it was revealed that accused persons are involved evaded the duty and taxes in the tune of Rs. 8, 866, 221/ to the national exchequer.

according to the interim challan, four accused persons namely Malik Aziz Ahmed S/O Malik Ghulam Yasin, proprietor of M/S Al Noor Shippers, Burhan Uddin Azeem S/O Badruddin Azeem, partner of M/S Azeem Tex, Ghulam Qadir Ali S/O Afzal, representative of M/S Al Noor Shippers, Muhammad Fahad S/O Muhammad Hanif and Jahanzab S/O Shah Jahan are bail. Another accused Muhammad Mubeen S/O Muhammad Suleman, owner of M/S Insiya Packages also was granted interim bail by the link judge of this court.
