SC disposes of drug smuggler bail

LAHORE: Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has disposed of bail application of the complaint in drug smuggling case.

Two member bench under the supervision of Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik heard bail application of accused Imteaz in drug smuggling case. The counsel of appellant argued that the allegations on the appellant are baseless and court may accept the bail of accused Imteaz. Counsel argued in the favour of appellant for the bail.

On the other side the additional prosecutor general told the court that on the available information police stopped the accused on road and during the searching the Raiwind City police has found one kilogram and 250 gram heroine from him and registered case against him. Added more, the Libratory report also becomes a part of police file and court may reject the bail application of the accused.

After hearing the arguments from both parties, honourable judges of Supreme Court have rejected the bail application of the accused.
