KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to give access to the Directorate General Intelligence and Investigation Inland Revenue via Computerised Risk Based Evaluation of Sales Tax (CREST) to curb bogus invoicing.
The Inland Revenue officials will also find those taxpayers who have been getting bogus refunds to ensure recovery from them. The officials can get data and analyse it to find tax defaulters and receivers of bogus refunds to take action against them.
