Faisalabad FIA arrests human trafficker, recovers Rs3,80,000

FAISLABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker Muhammad Ashraf a resident of Sargodha.

Ashraf was accused of extorting Rs3,80,000 from the complainant Muhammad Abubakar on the promise to send him Dubai.

According to details, the suspect, Ashraf, was involved in sending people abroad illegally. FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi and Inspector Muhammad Fahad Shafi conducted raid and arrested the accused. FIA officials also recovered passports and several fake visas of different countries from his possession.

The officials sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case No: 106/2016 against him under section (U/S), 17/22 Emigration ordinance (E.O), 1979.
