Pak-Turkey ties significant for investment

ISLAMABAD: International Expert, Dr. Noor Fatima has said that Pakistan’s relations with Turkey are very important as strategic partners.

She said that meeting of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council of the two countries held in Ankara would bring investors in trade, energy and railways sectors of Pakistan. She said that we need to improve collaboration in all these sectors with Turkey and added that we are in need of loyal friends and Turkey is one of them.

She further said that the meeting would further strengthen bilateral relations of the two countries and the Prime Minister Nawaz Shariff’s address to Turkish Parliament will enhance our image as well. Former Ambassador Mushtaq A. Mehar said that the 5th session and current meeting is significant and it would focus on political challenges of the region.

He said that Pakistan and Turkey are stable Muslim countries and they could resolve issues of Muslim world jointly. He said the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants collaboration from Turkey to improve transportation and connectivity with Pakistan adding Pakistani and Turkish armed forces have strong defence relations.
