DHAKA: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized various valuable medicines, cosmetics, cloths and motor parts worth about Tk60 million from Amrakhali area under Benapole Port Police Station in Jessore.
Commanding officer (CO) of BGB-49 Battalion Lt. Col. Jahangir Hossain said the border guards raided the area and seized the Indian goods. However, no one was arrested in this connection, he said.
The seized goods were later deposited to Jessore Customs warehouse, the CO said, adding that a case was filed.
