HCM City Customs takes online applications

HCM CITY: The municipal Customs Department is now offering online services at Level 3 for 41 administrative procedures. The online services aim to help applicants save time and cost, and make procedures and notifications easier to check and follow.

The department has said it will upgrade and develop its online services on its e-portal to reach at least Level 3 this year. Level-3 services will allow individuals and companies to fill in and submit forms online. The services can be accessed at http://haiquan.hochiminhcity.gov.vn or the e-portal of the General Department of Customs itself at http://pus.customs.gov.vn.

The mobile app can be downloaded from Samsung Apps or the Google Play Store. The department has said it will provide online services at Level 4 for key administrative procedures covering customs declaration and goods clearance, shipping declaration, tax payment, levies, tax exemptions and tax refunds. Level-4 public services, the highest of four administrative levels in the country, allow applicants to pay fees online and receive the results via the internet or the post office.
