KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Police detained three Indonesians during a raid in a rented room in Batu Niah on suspicion of drug smuggling.
Miri Police chief ACP Khoo Leng Huat said the suspects comprised two men and a woman, aged between 24 and 42.
“Also seized during raid were 14 small plastic packets containing syabu weighing 39 grams and worth RM7,800 as well as a digital weighing scale,” he said in a statement.
He said urine screening found one of the suspects, a 24-year-old man positive for amphetamine.
