Sources told Customs Today that the CCTV cameras installed at the KICT, AICT and BOML were non-operational.  The Collectorate of Appraisement – West’s deputy collector Headquarters has written to the terminal managers to ensure that all the CCTV cameras are operational.

The terminal managers were further directed to maintain the cameras and activate them in the examination areas and the terminals and connect them with the officer of collector Appraisement West so that the collector could monitor ongoing activities at the terminals.

CCTV cameras were installed and linked with the collector’s officer to keep an eye over activities at the terminals. The collector and additional collector administration have access to the examination process at the terminals through the cameras.
