Customs receives Rs399.71m all duty taxes in 15 days

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar earned Rs399.71million all duty taxes during initial 15 days of March of Financial Year 2016-17. The collectorate received Rs12528.04million all duty taxes during 1st of July to 15th of March 2016-17.

According to MCC Peshawar, the collectorate generated Rs152.36million Customs Duty during above said period whereas the collectorate got Rs4668.51million during 1st of July to 15th of March FY2016-17.

By 15th of March, the MCC Peshawar received Rs178.32million Sales Tax whereas it did Rs4641.08million up to financial year 15th of March 2016-17. The collectorate got Rs4.68million Federal Excise Duty (FED) during 15 days of March FY2016-17 whereas it did Rs117.77million during eight and a half months of FY2016-17.

During first to 15th of March FY2016-17, the collectorate generated Rs64.35million Additional Income Tax (AIT) whereas it did Rs3100.68million during 1st of July to 15th of March FY2016-17.

The sources said the collectorate paid Rs0.1million refund on ST during 1st of to 15th of March FY2016-17 whereas the collectorate paid R1.68million during initial eight and a half months of FY2016-17. The collectorate paid Rs.4.41 million rebates under the head of CD whereas it paid Rs96.17million under the same head during 1st of July to 15th of March FY2016-17.
