CDA overpower Customs by 10 wickets in Patron’s Trophy

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has overpowered Pakistan Customs by ten wickets during the fourth-round match of the Patron’s Trophy Grade-II at Diamond Club Ground, Islamabad

The CDA raced to the 43 runs target in seven overs without losing a wicket. Having conceded a 154 runs lead, Customs resumed their second innings at 98-3 and were dismissed for 196 with Shahan Akram (54) and Akbar Babar (53) scoring fifties. Faisal Iqbal and Kamran Hussain got three wickets each.

Customs posted 158 all out in their first innings. In response, CDA made 312 all out.

Meanwhile, Higher Education Commission (HEC) defeated Rahat and Shuja Impex by nine wickets in their Group C game at Jinnah Stadium, Gujranwala. Rahat and Shuja Impex posted 194 and 202. HEC made 347-6 and 52-1.
