Hyderabad ASO impounds smuggled vehicle valued Rs500000

HYDERABAD: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has impounded a non-duty paid vehicle, Suzuki auto car, worth Rs500000 involving duty and taxes of Rs407500 during an action.

Hyderabad Customs Collector Agha Shahid Majeed Khan received a tip-off that a non-duty paid vehicle is plying on the road. He constituted a raiding team under the supervision of Additional Collector Rehmatuallah Vistro.

The ASO team, comprising Superintendent Abu Muhammad Warsi, Inspectors Asaduddin Mirza, Iqbal Mughal, Mushtaque Ali Lakho, Sepoys Muhammad Essa, Ali Akbar Solongi, Hawaldar Muhammad Ahmed, Driver Muhammad Sadiq Khas Kheli and others, participated in the operation.

The team intercepted the vehicle with Registration N0: AKA-143 near Zia Heights Unit N0:07, Latifabad, Hyderabad.

The ASO team deposited the impounded smuggled Suzuki auto car into Hyderabad State Warehouse.
