KARACHI: A division bench of Sindh High Court taking notice of incorrect statement by a petitioner seeking release of vehicle purportedly purchased by him from a diplomatic mission ordered the counsel for petitioner to file a rejoinder.

If the petitioner fails to submit the rejoinder, Court will draw an inference, the bench said. The counsel for petitioner earlier said that petitioner is innocent as he has purchased a vehicle from a person who claimed that vehicle was auctioned by an embassy and released after payment of duty and taxes. The NOC was given by the seller after a delay of 5 years.
