MOSCOW: Russia has suspended liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports to Ukraine earlier in April over concerns it could be used for military goals, traders told Reuters on Wednesday.
Traders said there have been congestions of railcars with LPG at the Russia-Ukraine border as Russian customs have blocked their passages to the neighbouring country. LPG, or propane and butane, is usually cheaper than many other kinds of fuel, such as gasoline. It can be used in cars, household utilities or to produce electric power.
