LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Finance Dr Ayesha Ghous Pasha has said that Punjab Government will provide technical Assistance to Balochistan government in preparation of labour force for benefit from Pak China Economic Corridor including preparation of syllabus according to market demand for the technical institutions of Gwadar ,setting up of incubation centers and launching of youth entrepreneurship program .She said that the enforcement of special quota for Balochistan will be ensured in all public universities of province and the trend of joint research will be promoted. She said that the number of special seats for baloch students will be increased in Danish schools. Play grounds will be established for football players in Gwadar.
She expressed these views while presiding over a meeting regarding to the initiatives of Punjab government for Balochistan. Minister for Higher Education Raza Ali Gillani and Minister for Disaster Management Department Mehar Ijaz Achlana were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Ayesha Ghous Pasha Said that Punjab being the big province has always played the role of big brother for the development of other provinces and giving a large portion of its share to Balochistan from NFC is a great example of it. The Provincial Minister said that there is no shortage of funds with Balochistan government but it needs only technical expertise which will b provided to it after consultation with the Political leadership. She said that the CPEC is the project of the whole country and the four provinces will have to work jointly for benefiting from it . She said that baseless prejudices will have to be eliminated for this purpose. The provincial ministers told Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha that they along a delegation will soon leave to Balochistan so that its leadership could be taken into confidence before taking any step. Secretary Higher Education, TEVTA , Sports and representatives of Danish School inform the meeting about details of the initiatives to be taken in Balochistan in future and presented their proposals.
