Hazara customs generates Rs117.9m all duty taxes & surcharges in March

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Station Hazara collected Rs117.9million all duty taxes and surcharges during March of Financial Year FY2016-17.

According to Fazle Samad, Additional Deputy Collector Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar, that during March FY2016-17, the performance of Customs Station Hazara was satisfactory regarding the collection of all duty taxes. During above said period, the Hazara collected Rs32.83million Customs Duty.

During March, the Hazara station collected Rs3.08million miscellaneous taxes and surcharges whereas the said customs station collected Rs0.21million Redemption Duty on imports. During March, the Hazara station collected Rs0.94 million Sales Tax.

Fazle Samad told Customs Today that during above said period, Hazara collected Rs55.15million Sales Tax on import of palm oil whereas Hazara collected Rs22.01million Additional Income Tax and the said station collected Rs3.77 Federal Excise Duty on per 1 kilogram on import of palm oil.
