RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is organizing third ICT Awards (International Communication Technology ceremony on April 11.
Minister of State for Information Technology Ms Anusha Rahman Ahmed Khan will be the chief guest on the occasion. Rawalpindi Chamber is the only Chamber of the country giving such awards, said President RCCI Raja Amir Iqbal here Monday. Talking to media, he said the basic purpose of organizing the ceremony is to highlight efforts of individuals and companies for the betterment of industry and the country. He said that beside the Chamber, Pakistan Software Houses Association and Pakistan Software Export Board are also making arrangements for the function.
Raja said that ICT industry is having market share of approximately $3 billion in Pakistan and twin cities have 40 percent share in the total business of ICT in the country.
