Newly promoted superintendents host dinner to FBR chief today

ISLAMABAD: All the newly promoted superintendents of customs today (Thursday) will host a dinner to Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Dr. Muhammad Irshad. Member Customs Zahid Khokhar, Member Operation Rehmaullah Wazir, Member Administration Muhammad Majid Qureshi, Member strategic Planning Nasir Masroor, Chief Customs FBR F&C Ikhlaq Ahmed Khattak, Chief Management Junaid Jalil, Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib, Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Shaukat Ali, Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad Dr. Arslan Subughtageen and other senior officers from the Federal Board of Revenue and Field Formation Offices will attend the dinner.

According to the invitation, the dinner has been arranged on the auspicious occasion of promotion of deputy superintendent customs to superintendents. Sources told Customs Today that the issue of promotions of dying post of deputy superintendents has been pending since long. Previous Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan had ignored the issue but, after assuming the charge of Chairman Office, Dr. Muhammad Irshad resolved the matter and ordered the promotion of deputy superintendents to superintendents.
