DUBAI: UAE-based Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) has entered into an agreement with Dubai Trade, the premier trade facilitation entity, to utilise its ‘Rosoom’ the secured online payment gateway. As per the agreement, Empower’s customer base of more than 65,000 will now be able to access Dubai Trade’s e-payment gateway ‘Rosoom’, remarked Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, after signing the deal with Mahmood Al Bastaki, CEO of Dubai Trade. The unique e-payment gateway will help Empower’s customers process the company’s payment for services rendered through multiple payment options including major credit and debit cards free of charge. “At Empower we are committed to provide our customers with best-in-class services to streamline their day-to-day life. Our association with Dubai Trade is a testament to our efforts and initiatives to provide smart services to our customers and drive the UAE government’s smart vision,” stated Bin Shafar. The e-payment gateway will not only eliminate the need for customers visiting our office to make payments, but also provide easy convenience and security for our valued customers, he added.

Empower had announced earlier exempting its customers from transaction fees while they pay online. This move reflects the company’s firm belief in contributing to the smart transformation as well as to increase the efficiency of its services, rationalise costs and enhance reliability in financial transactions. Welcoming the partnership, Al Bastaki said: “We value Empower’s reliance on our services, in particular ‘Rosoom’, and confident that it will save their clients’ time and effort especially with the feature of high level of security.”
