SIALKOT: The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has planned to arrange a “Made in Sialkot Expo” in Islamabad in the third week of July 2017.

SCCI President Majid Raza Bhutta told newsmen that this initiative of holding Made in Sialkot Expo at Islamabad has been conceived to portray the potential of Sialkot as the only export-oriented city in Pakistan known for its dynamism. The projects like Sialkot International Airport, Sialkot Dry Port Trust, Child Labor Elimination Program and now AIRSIAL, the first-ever corporate Airline project of its kind, have been initiated by the business community of Sialkot.

SCCI President added that the industry of Sialkot has much credibility to its name but the real potential is yet to highlight at a broader level. This Expo would be a step forward to showcase the potential of the Industry to foreign diplomats, economic sections, bureaucrats, dignitaries and the general public of Pakistan who is unaware of the products that are proudly made in Sialkot. He added that Made in Sialkot Expo would also give an exposure of Made in Sialkot products to regional trade blocs as well.
