Multan Customs seizes NDP vehicles & goods worth Rs12.40m in 18 days of April

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office seized various vehicles and miscellaneous smuggled goods of worth Rs12.40 million in the first 18 days of the April during their crackdown in the jurisdiction.

According to details, Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office carried out their anti-smuggling operations in the territory on the directions of Deputy Director Abdul Mueed Kanjoo. These anti-smuggling operations were conducted on the basis of intelligence information received by Customs Intelligence Field Intelligence Unit in the region.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range Office has formed 11 various seizure cases in first 18 days of the on-going month of April in their actions.

Customs Field Intelligence Unit of Multan Range Office has seized two various vehicles of Mazda mini truck and Toyota Vitz car worth Rs.2.5 million in their crackdown so far in April. Customs teams detected four various seizure cases of worth Rs.5.8 million from Sadiqabad Region in their actions so far in the month of April by impounding smuggled vehicles and goods.

Field Intelligence Unit of Dera Ghazi Khan has detected five seizure cases by impounding four vehicles Mazda mini truck, Toyota Vitz car, Suzuki Sierra jeep and others far in their actions. The Customs Intelligence and Investigation team has increased the monitoring of movement smuggled vehicles to curb smuggling of vehicles in the region.

Customs Intelligence has also increased the patrolling in the region to curtail smuggling of vehicles from Dera Ghazi Khan region in the month of April so far.
